About NACA

NACA® was organized in 1976 by a group of highly qualified catastrophe adjusters. The association is dedicated to improving professional standards, insuring working relations with one another and promoting the general welfare of the individual members.

The association has grown over the years and presently has a total of 381 members (249 General, 38 Associate, 43 Apprentice and 51 Business Associate.) Members are located throughout the United States, Canada, and Venezuela. Most are available to insurance companies, self insured's or adjusting firms on an individual basis for the purpose of adjusting catastrophic losses.

Our Mission is to provide a professional organization focused on excellence in catastrophe insurance adjusting for members through education, shared resources, and technology.

Message From the President...

Wow! What a ride! The last four years have flown by and as I look back on the time and think about the weather, it seems that we have been on a roller coaster ride - up and down and at breakneck speed. We have seen feast, and we have seen famine. But I don’t believe I have ever seen such highs and lows in all the years I’ve been adjusting. Add to that, the current economic crisis and we are all left scratching our heads. We can only imagine what the New Year will bring.

My time as an officer is rapidly coming to a close and I think of what an honor and privilege it has been to serve on the board of NACA®. I have had great fellow officers and committee chairmen to work with and I thank each one of them for all their time and commitment to this fine organization. I also want to send a special thanks to Lori Ringo, who manages so well to keep us all informed with her hard work and dedication

I hope to see each of you at the upcoming convention, and I challenge each of you to “bring a friend”. We need to keep our numbers strong so that NACA® can continue to provide you with the opportunity to expand your education and knowledge, network with other adjusters and adjusting companies, and stay current with the latest tools of our industry. You get as much out of something as you put into it. Your participation in the convention is the key to our ongoing success. You are all encouraged to take the time to attend the business meeting. We need your input, ideas, and suggestions.

Angelo Cassanese
NACA® President
