This is my first message as the new President of APIW. I am thrilled to be leading an organization dedicated to the professional advancement of women.
I have been a member of the APIW since the early 1990’s. Driven for success, I set out to prove my commitment to the insurance business, studied and received my broker’s license and joined as many networks and mentoring groups as I could manage. I would pick and chose the events and would seek out friends to join me so that I wasn’t “alone” in the room. I became more active and now recognize that building my network was one of the most important facets of my thriving career.
